Coven of The Dancing Serpent Women is an eclectic coven for women of color in the Atlanta area.
We are a community of women who are deliberately engaging the path of self-mastery.
We are a Goddess Tradition, meaning our 1st intention is to honor that in which births and sustains life.
UwaTaNa combines folk magick, feminine mysticism and other influences into a unique blend of Traditional ATR and esoteric workings.
UwaTaNa will provide an atmosphere that is supportive of building and enhancing skills in the magickal and subtle arts.
We seek to encourage the growth of the soul’s evolution by engaging with the forces of the natural world and the sacred truths of our own inner beings. We do this through a set of shared goals that keep us accountable for our work, such as:
We are a deliberate and intentional teaching coven, with a traditional three-degree initiatory structure and an explicit set of training requirements at each degree.
We affirm that our work is not something that one practices only within Circle: We strive, each of us, to live our entire lives, both the esoteric portions and the mundane, in conformity to the Universal laws, mindful that every choice we make always has consequences, and that we are each of us, like it or not, responsible for all of the consequences of our choices
This is more than a gathering—it is a sanctuary for deepening magickal practice, refining intuitive gifts, and cultivating spiritual strength. UwaTaNa is not a social club; our purpose runs far deeper. While social clubs focus on recreation and shared interests, we are devoted to spiritual evolution, personal empowerment, and collective mystical work.
